In this rewarding Bank Nurse role you'll work in a welcoming, friendly nursing homes in Weston-super-Mare and Bristol locations; you’ll have flexibility and access to shifts that work for you including sleepins.

About the role

You’ll join established, supportive teams who support people with profound and multiple learning disabilities living in welcoming homes. The homes are based in Bristol at Cadbury Health and Weston-super-Mare, close to the M5.

 

You'll help to inspire the team to ensure the people we support get the very best out of life. They're in their mid-thirties and forties and you'll support them to access their community and enjoy a range of social and leisure activities. The individuals require 24 hour nursing care; you'll run shifts, manage the support workers and support the health needs of the individuals. Our nursing team talk about their role in this short video:

 

About you

You’ll have a nursing qualification with current NMC registration (preferably RNLD, RNMH or ENLD) and demonstrable experience of working with people with learning disabilities. You'll also have experience of Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities. Confident and calm under pressure, you'll also be flexible, open to a challenge and innovative in your approach.

 

It is desirable that you have a full driving licence, and are able and willing to drive service vehicles.

 

The salary for this role is £16.11- £16.60 per hour, dependent on qualifications & experience.
