You'll support three young people at an exciting time in their lives as they transition to living independently in their own, shared home.  


We are recruiting for full time roles (37.5 hours) per week working flexibly across a rota. The salary for this role is £17,794 - £18,492 pa pro rata (£9.10 - £9.46 per hour), dependent on qualifications & experience.  You have the option of working additional hours or sleep-ins in a range of services - paid at £50-£70 extra per sleep-in.

About the role

You’ll support three young people with a learning disability and autism who are in their early twenties in all aspects of their lives. Two of the individuals go to college in the day; so you’ll be supporting them with their cooking and independent living skills, they enjoy outings and going shopping. Part of this role will be to develop new activities for them to do. They all like structure and routine in their lives and this will be key in this role. 


If you’re new to social care, we will support you gain the nationally recognised Care Certificate. If you have experience as a care assistant or care worker in a care home, you’ll discover we provide plenty of on-going training, support to achieve relevant qualifications and career progression. About you

You’ll need good communication skills and a positive, patient approach. Respectful of people’s differences, you can build professional relationships and have a flexible approach. All support workers work flexible shifts to provide a 24/7 service to the people we support.
