Learning disability charity Brandon Trust has merged with Children’s Playlink; we provide holiday schemes for children aged 4½ to 18 years with a learning disability, in South Gloucestershire in Yate, Little Stoke, Kingswood and Thornbury. The holiday clubs provide respite for parents and carers and offer a setting where children can enjoy fun activities. We also provide workshops for teenagers and 18 to 25 year olds, as well as buddy schemes which support young people with disabilities to access mainstream clubs and after school activities; aiming to provide new experiences, promote friendships, encourage a sense of independence and improve self-confidence.   If you’re passionate about delivering services for young adults and children with learning disabilities this is an ideal progression role; the next step up in coordinating services as well as delivering and leading on some days.
